-- another ace 60's tab from Andrew Rogers |
Second-greatest frat-rocker ever (do I need to tell you what's #1?); |
according to Dave Marsh, it sounds like it was 'recorded live at Animal |
House'. Originally done in the late 50's by Dick Holler and the Holidays, |
and covered in 1966 by both the K-Otics and the Swingin' Medallions, the |
latter of whom took it all the way to #17 that summer. And as for Holler |
himself, he went on to write 'Abraham, Martin, and John' - which goes to |
show you never can tell. --AWR |
