| [00:18.74] |
Joseph was an old man an old man was he |
| [00:27.74] |
When he married Virgin Mary the Queen of Galilee |
| [00:43.64] |
As Mary and Joseph were walking one day |
| [00:52.82] |
To an orchard of cherry trees they chanced for to stray |
| [01:08.48] |
Then Mary said to Joseph so meek and so mild |
| [01:17.72] |
Pick me some cherries Joseph for I am with child |
| [01:35.87] |
But Joseph flew angry so angry flew he |
| [01:43.22] |
Let the father of your baby gather cherries for thee |
| [01:59.09] |
The up spoke Lord Jesus from in his mother's womb |
| [02:06.11] |
Bow low down cherry trees bow down to the ground |
| [02:22.01] |
And the cherry trees bowed down bowed low to the ground |
| [02:29.96] |
And Mary gathered cherries while Joseph stood round |
| [02:47.09] |
Then Joseph took mary all upon his right knee |
| [02:52.37] |
Come tell me pretty baby when your birthday shall be |
| [03:09.95] |
On the fifth day of January my birthday shall be |
| [03:19.28] |
And the stars in the heaven shall all bow down to me |
