A traveler from an ancient land |
Spoke of cities in the sand |
That rose so high, and then faded away... |
How change is like a raging wind |
That lives and dies and lives again |
And tests the very heart of all we dream |
So, what will we create |
And what will we destroy |
In this dream of life |
On this fragile voyage |
When we're walking in the dream of life? |
Uncertain is the open road |
And where it ends I cannot know |
Until I see the sunrise one last time |
If who we are is all we keep |
When we awaken from this sleep |
May we be proud of what we left behind |
So, what will we create |
And what will we destroy |
In this dream of life |
On this fragile voyage |
When we're walking in the dream of life? |
We're walking in the dream of life |
We're walking in the dream of life |
