[00:14.28] once,in a land of darkness long ago
[00:19.14] when all the earth was covered in darkness and shadow
[00:24.00] under a spell of an evil sorceress witch,
[00:27.79] the people cried for deliverance,
[00:31.76] and no child was born for many a long year.
[00:42.29] out of the mountains of Bothzak
[00:44.65] a hero did answer their call:
[00:47.84] riding forth upon his stalwart steed,
[00:51.59] brandishing the heirloom of his house:
[00:55.20] the jewel encrusted claymore.
[01:09.37] forth he rode into the night,
[01:11.47] slaying foes great and small,
[01:14.32] and all evil did flee before this valiant hero
[01:18.52] and the might of the jewel-encrusted claymore.
[01:25.99] at last the hero came to the evil witch's realm and lo,
[01:30.35] he looked upon the barren wasteland:
[01:32.64] frozen and dry where no life could take hold.
[01:38.46] and with his claymore he smote the witch's minions
[01:42.62] and at long last stood face to face with her.
[01:48.58] and he did run her through with his claymore,
[01:51.38] piercing the soft flesh beneath the witch's callous exterior.
[02:04.60] she gave a cry of pain and
[02:07.60] yet it seemed to all that did witness
[02:09.75] possibly a cry of ecstasy, as well.
[02:15.26] and behold,
[02:17.01] impossibly he saw that she was unharmed
[02:19.41] and fair now to look upon.
[02:23.60] the skies of the land opened upon the Earth
[02:26.71] and life began to blood anew.
[02:33.65] She looked upon him and said,
[02:35.31] "Oh, most valiant of heroes,
[02:38.25] thou hast delivered me from a fate worse than death.
[02:42.76] Verily I beseech you,
[02:45.66] wilt thou pierce me with thy jewel-encrusted claymore once more?"
[02:53.34] and so he did and all the land rejoiced.
