It hasn't been that long
Since I've had a dream that bad
But come to think of it
It was the worst sleep I've ever had
You were on my mind
As I lay coughing there
I heard your cough in mine
And then I saw your stare
It's easy to forget
To put my hands up to my head
Close everything off
And crawl into bed
I can't give any life
To what I do
Or keep the mind
To see anything through
