a stroke starts it all,
a pencil in my right,
eraser to the left

marker marks the lines,
smearing of the graphite, to compromise
Single stroke..just a stroke
Pastels,
coloring the shapes, making random scratches, watercolor stains
Became,
a portrait, a mess, so much uglier than I had really wanted to draw
Second stroke..just a stroke
Need to change my mediums to make sense of it all since I can't go back to the white canvas
Start again, start again
Seventh stroke..just a stroke
Droplets, the salt that stays behind, abstract, piece of artwork, next up
Anything from glass shards to red streaks, watermarks
Will the meaning I try to convey, find a way through all these
Messed up lines, and to some a, masterpiece, masterpiece
