U.S. stock prices were mixed Monday, with the tech-weighted NASDAQ market declining for the seventh day in a row. Lingering worries over corporate earnings weighted on Wall Street's mood, as investors drifted about without a lot of conviction. The Dow Jones Industrial Average went up 21 points, for a fractional gain, to 10,645. But the broader S&P 500 index lost six points, 1.5 %, while the NASDAQ composite closed two percent lower. Driving the Dow Industrial s higher was General Motors, after a report that the world's top auto-maker is taking steps to gain back some market share. GM, at one time, had 50% of the U.S. auto market. That has dropped to about 28% today.
