[00:15.52]The boy,Noah McCullough,made a splash with his encyclopedic command of presidential history, [00:23.27]earning five appearances on the "Tonight" show and some unusual experiences in the presidential campaign last year. [00:30.20]He beat Howard Dean in a trivia contest at the Democratic National Convention [00:35.45]and wrote for his local newspaper about his trip to see the inauguration. [00:39.61]"He's very patriotic and very Republican," said to the media Noah's mother, Donna McCullough, “ [00:45.63]a former teacher and self-described Democrat. "It's the way he was born." [00:50.53]In a sign of how far groups go to carry their message on Social Security, [00:55.49]Progress for America has signed up Noah, a fourth grader, as a volunteer spokesman. [01:07.00]Progress for America, which spent almost $45 million backing Mr Bush last year, [01:13.61]plans to lay out $20 million on Social Security this year.
