In my life, I have dreamt of seeing the great herds of wild animals, jungles and rainforests full of birds and butterflies, but now I wonder if they will even exist.

Parents should be able to comfort their children by saying "everything's going to be alright', "it's not the end of the world" and, and "we're doing the best we can".
But I don't think you can say that to us anymore.
